Why practice questions matter more than re-reading the textbook
The Humber Real Estate Salesperson exam is multiple-choice, computer-administered, and 90 minutes long. Every question on the actual exam takes the same shape: a scenario sentence or two, four answer options, one correct answer, three plausible distractors. Your job for four weeks of prep is to recognise this pattern hundreds of times until you stop being surprised by it. Re-reading the textbook does not build this recognition. How to use the 100-question PDF
Day one: Set a 60-minute timer. Work through all 100 questions in one sitting without checking the answer key. The Humber exam is timed; your prep should be too.
Day two: Score yourself. Then read the explanation for every question you missed AND every question you got right but felt unsure on. The "barely correct" questions are where most exam losses happen — you got the right answer for the wrong reason, and on a slight rephrase you'll miss it.
Day three onward: Re-take only the questions you missed. Drilling weak topics is twice as efficient as re-doing the whole bank.
On exam day you'll have studied roughly 400 questions like these. The actual Humber exam is 90 questions. By that point the format is muscle memory and you can focus all of your reasoning on the content of each question, not on parsing how it's structured.
