How much does RECO registration cost?

RECO initial registration costs $590 in 2026. Renewal every 2 years costs $480. Brokerage registration is $1,200 initial / $1,000 renewal.

RECO's salesperson initial registration fee is $590 in 2026. This fee is paid once when you first register with RECO after completing the Humber pre-registration program.

Registration is renewed every two years. The salesperson renewal fee is $480, paid through the MyWeb portal in the months leading up to your registration anniversary. Renewal also requires you to have completed RECO's mandatory 24-hour continuing education in the prior cycle.

Broker registration costs more. Initial broker registration (after the Humber broker program) is $590; broker renewal is $480 — the same as salesperson rates.

Brokerage registration is the highest fee tier: $1,200 for initial registration when opening a new brokerage, and $1,000 for renewal every two years. The brokerage of record (a designated broker) pays this fee personally or via the brokerage business account.

These fees are for RECO only. They do not include the OREA membership fee, local real estate board dues, MLS access, E&O insurance, or any provincial business taxes — those are separate and typically run another $1,500-$2,500 per year combined.
